Burim Ramadani was born on 14th of December 1981, in Suhareka.

Ramadani was appointed as Inspector General of KIA on 25th of November 2019, while before that date he was Deputy Minister of Defense (initally Deputy Minister of KSF), 2019-2019, and National Coordinator on NATO Integration and Membership, 2019.

Among other tasks, Ramadani chaired the inter-institutional work on drafting the Kosovo Security Strategy, 2018-2019. Ramadani holds Master’s degree on Political Science, University of Prishtina, in 2008, and Bachelor degree in Public Administration, University of Prishtina, in 2004.As well, as we gratuated at Journalistic School “Faik Konica”, in 2002.

During last 12 years, he has completed various trainings and programes of specializing in security fields.

Ramadani is married with Lena, and they have two children, Ana and Lum.

He is fluent in English and beginner in Serbian Language.
